Heerenveen-based sustainable fuels supplier OG Clean Fuels on April 5 announced the acquisition of 13 new bio-CNG fuelling locations in the Netherlands. The acquisition, completed in March, enhances the distribution network of bio-CNG fuelling stations across the country, with a focus on meeting the needs of heavy transport.

The bio-CNG stations are in Bergen op Zoom, Breda, Delfgauw, Etten-leur, Heerlen, Hoogblokland, Geldermalsen, Maastricht, Noordwijk, Oosterhout, Oss, Sliedrecht, and Zaltbommel.

"With this acquisition, we increase our number of fuel locations from 90 to 103, improving our national coverage and strengthening our position as a market leader of bio-CNG in the Netherlands," Jort Kooijman, sales manager at OG Clean Fuels, said. "Bio-CNG plays an important role in the transition to sustainable transport and the realisation of climate objectives in the Netherlands."

The company now plans to expand to Germany, Sweden, Italy, Spain, and the UK.
